Ray Larabie’s interest in fonts was sparked at an early age by his Grandmother who supplied him with sheets of Letraset used in her office. He became so familiar with the typeface names that by the time he was 17, he could identify hundreds of fonts by name. As a hobby, he began to experiment creating his own typefaces with pen and paper and later on his first computer, a TRS-80.
